Peter R. Martin, 82, died May 27, 2021 after a brief illness at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, CA. He was born January 30, 1939 in Milford, CT, the son of the late Peter S. and Jean (Zaniewski) Martin.

After high school, Peter served with The U.S. Air Force and was stationed in France and The Azores. His training in the Air Force set the foundation for a long career as a mechanical technician for the BFM Aerospace Company. In his free time, Peter enjoyed fishing, sharing his passion of gardening with his friends, exploring restaurants - especially a good buffet & long walks around his neighborhood.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his former spouse Patricia Marren. He is survived by his daughter Karen and her husband Gary Ross of Southington, CT and daughter Jamie and her husband
David Paquin of Manhattan Beach, CA; four grandchildren, Brian Ross, Jason Ross, Heather Ross and Lily Paquin; two sisters, Alice of CA and Marjorie Sprague of Arlington, TX; nephew Jeffrey Sprague. Peter also leaves behind some special friends Thomas Saelee and the Li family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Chapman Funeral Homes 51 E. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91006.
