Alex Pappas was born on February 17, 1973 in Hollywood, California. He grew up in Glendale, California and graduated from Hoover High School. He then had a long and successful career in the car business. He was a happy and fun loving person who would give his last dollar if you needed it, he had many friends and he was always enjoyed spending time with them. In September of 2008, Alex suffered a massive seizure that put him into cardiac arrest. By the time he was revived he was left brain damaged and in a persistent vegetative state until he passed on March 17, 2019. He is survived by his parents Peter and Cathy Pappas, sister and brother in law Stacy and Rafik Petrossian, his nephew and niece Andrew and Katerina Petrossian and many aunts, uncles and cousins both here and in Greece.

The Trisagion will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 and the funeral will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Both services will be held at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church, 788 S. Rosemead Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. Following the Makaria, the interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, California.
