Obituary

Aloise "Lolly" Ann Withorne, age 86, of Anaheim, CA, entered the spirit world on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

She was born on October 16, 1935 to Fred and Mary Mason, in Cleveland, Ohio.

She graduated from Lakewood High School in 1953.

On July 24, 1965, she married the love of her life Harold Withorne in Lakewood, OH.

Lolly graduated on the dean's high honor list with her degree in Practical Nursing from Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan in December 1981. She also earned an Associate Degree from Washtenaw Community College in 1982.

She began her nursing career before attending nursing school and continued after receiving her degree. She continued her nursing career for many years including years as a trauma nurse at Chapman Medical Center where she was known as "trauma momma" who loved her job and dedicated her life to serving others. She positively impacted thousands of people by her medical skills and her compassion and retired in 2008.

Lolly adored her grandchildren and was always overjoyed with happiness to see their accomplishments and activities. Nana will be forever missed.

She enjoyed her retirement by playing cards and bingo with her friends.

Lolly is survived by three sons Mark Withorne, Georgia; Todd Withorne, Michigan; H Scott (Kella) With Horn, South Dakota; adopted daughter Patricia Withorne, South Dakota. One brother George Mason, Missouri; one sister Patricia Mahon, Arizona. Five granddaughters: Kimberly, Hayley, Hannah, Lillian and Abby. Five grandsons: Trent (Joetta), Mason (Destiny), Taylor, Tristan and Talon. Many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to all her friends at Hillcrest Village for their kindness and generosity and most of all for being her family.

Her family will miss their Ina, Mother, Nana, Aunt and Sister.

"Ina, Toksta ake, waci waniyanke, mahpiya ohnibde mitawa!"

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Chapman Funeral Homes of Orange, CA. Burial will be at Pine Lawn Memorial in Rapid City, South Dakota.
