Alphonso "Alphie" Mendoza, 71, of Ontario, CA, passed away on January 4, 2015 in San Gabriel, CA.
At his request, no service will be held.
Alfie was born in Los Angeles, CA to Maximino and Dorothy Mendoza on November 24, 1943. He went to high school at Rooselvelt High School, Los Angeles, CA. Alfie moved around over the years but his heart never left Monterey, CA.
Alfie is survived by his brothers, George Arellano of San Jose, CA and Richard Mendoza of Wildomar, CA. His sisters Mable Rodarte of San Jose, CA and Angelina Sotelo of Ontario, CA and his dear friend Esther De Lara of Alhambra, CA.
Alfie will be remembered as a wonderful brother, uncle and friend.
