Bessie Anagnostou passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at her home in Downey, California surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Nicholas, her son John and his wife Nikolina, and two loving granddaughters, Nikoletta and Nektaria.

Trisagion service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Funeral service at 10:00 am on Friday, September 7, 2018. Both services at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Downey, CA. Interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier CA. Makaria mercy meal to follow interment at Saint George Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint George Memorial Fund.
