Billie Basiliki Curnutt, a longtime resident of Farmington, New Mexico, passed at her home on June 19, 2017. Billie found a renewed sense of passion in her capacity as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) assisting with welfare and placement of children throughout San Juan County, New Mexico. In 2012, Billie was named the CASA Volunteer of the Year for her work in the community.
Beyond her community service and professional achievements, Billie was a wonderful mother, always active in the lives of her two sons. Billie maintained close ties to her extended family, the Greek community and held fast to her faith in the church.
