On the morning of June 24th, 2022, Catherine Keiko Taylor passed peacefully at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Orange, California.

Catherine was the beloved daughter of the late Richard Eugene Donahue and Suzy Shizue Rudat. Catherine was born in 1950 in Shimo-machi, Kita-Ku, Japan. In 1952, the family relocated to the United States. Catherine worked for over 29 years as an office clerk for the Orange Unified School District and was loved by the children and the families there, alike.

Catherine's greatest calling was as matriarch to a large family and was the veritable glue that held the family together. She was beautiful, bright, and extremely giving and caring. She is survived by her four children, Richard Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Jacob Taylor and Rachel Madach, their spouses and twelve grandchildren, Alixandria Capparelli, Katie Taylor, Johnathon Taylor, Isaac Taylor, Caleb Taylor, Eden Taylor, Chloe Taylor, Holden Taylor, Lilah Taylor, Harper Madach, Mia Madach and Everett Madach, her two great grandchildren, Leonardo Capparelli and Daxton Barragan and her two sisters Nancy Walters and Sandra Mori.

We will miss our sweet and loving mother, sister, cousin, grandmother and great grandmother who engaged in living and dying with courage, grace and a sense of humor.

Funeral will be held at La Purisima Church in Orange, California on July 19, 2022 at 10am, with a celebration of life to follow.
