Obituary

Christina passed away at her home in Los Angeles, California on November 29, 2020 at the age of 27.

Christina was born September 5, 1993 in New York, New York to Antonios and Lesia Tontisakis. She was the oldest of two daughters and is survived by her sister Alexandra and her two parents.

Christina enjoyed nothing more in life than spending her time with family and friends and traveling. She had a taste for all things great, people, food and wines. In all her travels, she especially loved her time in Greece and Germany with those that mattered to her most, friends and family. With them she was often the smartest in the room, she attracted conversations that would lead into early hours of the morning. Her wonderful but no-nonsense manner and unique sense of humor was admired by all and anyone who had the pleasure of even spending five minutes with her knew that she was one of a kind. We were all so lucky to have her in our lives.

Christina moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College in Boston with BFA Film Production in 2015. She was thriving in her career in film production both in Vice and independent film projects, ranging from shows for HBO, Vice, short films and music videos. Her world lit up when working on films and those who worked with her admired her passion so greatly. With this natural passion and talent, she was constantly sought out and eager to help all her friends and strangers in their film career endeavors.

Christina's passing is still a shock to her family and friends. She was our joy and light that with us every day of her life.

She was survived by her loving family: Lesia and Antonios Tontisakis (parents), Alexandra Tontisakis (sister), Chrysoula Tontisaki (grandmother), Christos and Angelliki Tontisakis (uncle/aunt) Panagiotis Tontisakis, (cousin) Margarita Tontisaki (cousin) and her Godfather Vasilli Danginis as well as many more aunts uncles and cousins in her extended family.

Christina will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
