Christo Antony Chiotis was born in Garden Grove, CA on April 18, 1971, and passed away April 5, 2023. He earned his degree from California State Polytechnic University, in Pomona, CA. He was founder and CEO of Pacifica Capital and Brokerage.
He met his wife, Jill Chiotis, on their spring break trip in Rosarito, Mexico in 1991. They married in 1996 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach, CA. They moved to San Juan Capistrano in 2004 when their daughter Natasha was 2. The following year, their son Max was born in 2005.
Christo loved cooking and barbecuing, hosting friends and family in their backyard for pool parties. He enjoyed gardening and planting citrus and olive trees, playing tennis with his kids, walking with their dog Mikey, and skiing in Lake Tahoe. He had a big laugh, was outgoing, loved talking and connecting with anyone and everyone.
He loved to travel and had been to Greece numerous times to visit family back in Argos. He enjoyed many European cruises throughout the years with his family. All of his successes in life he did for his family.
He is survived by his wife Jill Chiotis, daughter Natasha Chiotis, and son Maximus Chiotis. He is also survived by his parents Antony Christo Chiotis and Penny Irene Chiotis, sister Maria Morrison, niece Sophia and nephew Stavros Morrison, and Mikey the family dog.
He would say, "If you don't build your dreams, someone will hire you to build theirs."
The funeral service is at 12pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Saint Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 31612 El Camino Real, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675. Interment following at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
