Dimitrios Hristos Karnakis, 85, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 in Pasadena, California. Dimitrios was born on May 17, 1934 to Christos Karnakis and Eleni (Chalus) Karnakis in a small Greek village outside of Kalamata. Dimitrios came to America 48 years ago with 3 dollars in his pocket and visons of the America dream. His hard work and devotion to provide for his family made the American dream a reality.

Dimitrios is survived by his son Christos, daughter Angie Cosfol, and grandchild Johnny Cosfol.

Viewing and Trisagion services will be held at 7pm on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena, California. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, February 28, 2020 also at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena, California. The family will greet friends with lunch and drinks from 1130am to 1pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn of Glendale, California at 1:30pm.
