Doris Florence Robinson Hawkesworth, 94, beloved Matriarch, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2019 in Arcadia, California. Doris was born August 9, 1925 in San Diego, California. She was the 5th of 8 Robinson children all predeceased: Robert, Ruth (Myrick), Frances, James, Juanita (Parsons), Donald and Kenneth. On Coronado Island, in 1942, she married her childhood sweetheart, Robert E. Hawkesworth Jr. who predeceased her in 1980. In 1943, she graduated from San Diego High School.

Doris is the mother to 4 children: Kathleen Minor of Lancaster, Robert E. III (predeceased), Susan Casey-Ellis of El Cajon and Christine Kloezeman of South Pasadena. Grandmother to 11: Darlene, Stacey, Amanda, Taleen, Michael, Jessica, David, Karen, William, Kristen, Kimberly. Great grandmother to 12: Jayden, Kira, Kendra, Skylar, Casey Joseph, Alyssa, Garrett, Carl, Holly, Anika, Kyle and Heather.

Doris retired from General Dynamics Convair in 1987 after over 30 years as a Data Entry Clerk.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at 10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5555 Aztec Drive, La Mesa, CA 91942. Flowers can be delivered to the church.

Interment at Cypress View Mausoleum 3953 Imperial Avenue at 40th, San Diego, CA 92113
