Fotini Bonorris, 62, passed away peacefully, in the early morning, at her home in Upland, California on Saturday August 2, 2014. She was born in Argos, Greece on January 18, 1952 to Gianni & Dionysia Soultanidis. She came to this county an immigrant and prided herself in becoming an American citizen. Fotini is best known for her love of life, energetic personality and contagious smile. Her warm generous nature made her an excellent Greek school teacher. Being Greek Orthodox encompassed her heart and soul. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband Vasilios "Bill" Bonorris, daughter Anastasia Bonorris Shipman, son in law Chad Shipman and grandchildren Stefanos Vasilios Shipman and Alexandros George Shipman. Fotini is also survived by her brothers Petros, Spiros, Makis, Takis and sister Olympia who reside in Greece.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2014 7:00PM at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church at 20340 E. Covina Blvd. Covina, California. Funeral service to be held Wednesday August 6, 2014 11:00AM also at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church.
