Georgia B. Blaszcak, 60, passed away peacefully March 23, 2014 at City of Hope Medical Center. Georgia was born in Tripoli, Greece to Kostas and Sotiria Bacoyianis. She was a devoted and loving wife, sister and friend. She was an active person who gave much in her life. A bright personality, who had dreams, and she fulfilled most of them in her life. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of over 33 years, Frank Blaszcak, her sister, Tula and her husband, Pete Callas; two nephews, Kosta Callas, Nick Callas and his wife Melissa, and their children, Peyton, and Bristol.

Trisagion will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 7:00pm, and the funeral service will be Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:30am, both held at Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church, 778 South Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107. Interment to follow at Rose Hills Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, 3333 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010 in honor of Georgia.
