Guy M. Anthony, Jr. entered this life on New Year's Day 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and departed on March 10, 2021 near Santa Ana, California.

Born the first day of the so-called Baby Boom, Guy Junior looked nothing like his twin brother Ross who was born a few minutes earlier to their parents, Christine H. and Guy M. Anthony, Sr. Guy Junior's red hair and fair complexion further differentiated him from the four younger brothers who would later follow him - Bob, Jay, Jack and Tom - but it would never hold him back.

Like his brothers, Guy was an active child and enjoyed the outdoors: riding bikes, hitting baseballs, fishing for crawdads in the creek, playing cowboy with the horses on his grandfather's quarter-section near Edmond, hiking on family trips near Rocky Mountain National Park, water skiing with his brothers on Lake Fort Gibson. He attended Nichols Hills Elementary and graduated from Casady School, having played basketball, run track, served as president of the "C" Club and co-captained the football team.

Guy continued his athletic pursuits at Princeton University where he joined Cloister Club and played lightweight "150" football. Upon graduating with a degree in economics, Guy joined the United States Marines, completing Officer Candidate School and later serving as a first lieutenant in Vietnam and at other posts in the Far East. After completing his military service as a Marine Captain, Guy stayed in the Orient, making use of his language skills and cultural knowledge to manage Asian imports for the C. R. Anthony Company, the chain of family clothing stores founded by his grandfather and by then, managed by his father and uncles. Guy lived and worked in Taiwan and Korea for almost twenty years.

In the late 1980s, Guy returned to the United States where he bought and managed a water fitness equipment company called Hydro-Tone. At age 50, he married KahDo Cho whom he had met in Korea, and they settled in Orange County, California, enjoying time with their dogs, and welcoming visits from nieces and nephews on both sides of the Pacific. Guy and often KD also traveled to the annual Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament and to see friends and family in Hawaii and Korea and to spend time with Guy's brothers and their families at numerous family birthdays, weddings and other reunion excuses. Closer to home, Guy and KD were members of the Lord Grace Korean Church in Orange County.

Guy was a loving husband, a faithful son, a fun-loving brother, a treasured "Uncle Chip," a loyal friend, a courageous Marine, and a devoted dog owner. He had a halting, infectious way of laughing that caused his whole upper body to bob up and down, inspiring those around him to join in the fun. His presence and his laugh will be missed.

Guy was predeceased by his parents and cherished dog Coco. He is survived by his wife, KahDo "KD" Anthony, his five brothers and their families, and his dog Winnie. His loss is deeply felt.
