Jeannette Webster, mother of Melina (Barry) Pyle, John (Jennifer) Webster and beloved grandmother to Katrina and Liza Pyle and to Jack, Jenna and Justin Webster and wife of 55 years to Dante P. Webster, passed away peacefully December 12th at home with her family by her side.
Jeannette was born Ioanna Andrianna Christopoulos in Old Katamon, Palestine.
The daughter of Katerina Kouroulis and Christos Christopoulos, she was raised in a devout Orthodox Christian family and attended Soeurs de Saint Joseph school in the Old City of Jerusalem.
After immigrating to Los Angeles in 1946, she acquired a job a Coldwell Banker (CBRE), where she met and later married Dante (Dan) Webster at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Together Dan and Jeannette built a beautiful life – finding the greatest joy in entertaining family and friends and creating valuable memories in their two favorite places, Santa Ynez and Montana.
Jeannette had a very generous soul, cherished her family and friends and was adored by all. Her spirit will live on in the many memories she created and the love and wisdom she shared.
A special thanks to our dear friend Grace Fritzinger who visited her day during her illness, as well as her devoted caretakers Alfredo Olivares, Arisele Aguilar and Elsy Siguenza.
