Jerry Mack Millsaps, 76, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2017 in Palm Desert, California. Born to Mack and Maggie (Wyatt) Millsaps on July 3, 1941 in Harmony, North Carolina. Jerry grew up active in school and involved in many ventures. After graduating from high school he served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963.

After leaving the Air Force, Jerry began a long and distinguished career in the real estate title industry. He started as a messenger and through hard work and long hours became a co-founder and president of Provident Title Company, one of the largest independent title companies in Southern California. He served the title industry for over fifty years.

Throughout his life Jerry was an avid fan of stock car racing, drag racing, golfing and the New York Yankees. He enjoyed watching all team sports and attended in person several World Series and NBA Championship Finals games.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Maggie, his brother, Jeremy and his sister, Pamela.

He is survived by his brother, Gary, his sisters, Marjorie, Sandra and Anne, his sons and their wives, A.J.Lee (Ju Dee) and Jerry Jackson (Lisa), seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that loved him.

Jerry was a dedicated father, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. He truly cared for others more than himself. His smile and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints building at 150 W. Duarte Road, Arcadia, California on August 19th. The viewing will be a 9:00am and services will start at 10:00am. The grave side dedication and interment will be at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California.
