John passed away on October 20, 2021 after a tragic car accident.

He was born in Kapsia, Greece to Evangelos and Panagiota Anagnostopoulos. He immigrated to the United States in 1974 with his family and set roots in Downey, California where he lived the rest of his life. He is preceded in death by grandson Yianni Koumoudouros, his brothers and sister. He is survived by his wife Maria of 66 years. His son Vaggeli Anagnos, daughter Toula Anagnos, daughter Tina Koumoudouros (Costas) and grandson George Koumoudouros (Shawna).

Services will be held at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Downey. Trisagion is on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 7:00pm. Funeral service is on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10:00am.
