Obituary

John C. Carras, full of life, enthusiasm and a positive attitude was, called from his earthly life on Saturday, March 10th, 2018. John was the loving and adoring father of Amy Christine Carras and Brooklyn Justine Carras. With their mother Polly,     John and she have seen that today they are thriving in their own right. He leaves behind his brother Ernest Carras, Sister Betty Gakos, husband John as well as his nephews William, Dean, and James who remember him as a cool and fun loving uncle. There are so many lives he touched it is impossible to list you all.

John, a native of New Jersey came west at 20 years of age driving his MGB to California. Prior to leaving New Jersey he had possessed 7 automobiles and 2 motorcycles besides go karts and mini bikes in his pre-teens. Settling and making his life for over 40 years in California he encountered the many fruits of life.

John's love of cars brought him to his career in the car business via sales, to management, to eventually becoming an owner of two dealerships. Throughout his career he had earned the respect and admiration of many through his high standard of ethics and sense of style and always giving his best to close a deal.

John also had his own successful marketing company, Carras & Associates for many years and of course it dealt with the automotive industry.

He has restored many cars to their classic condition over the years of his career. Johnny was also an avid Harley Davidson rider and had numerous bikes.

John's greatest joy was in the Love of his daughters Amy and Brooklyn. His face would light up the room whenever he would talk about his girls. His Love and friendship for all, near and far was never exhausted. He always kept in touch with his cousins on the East Coast or wherever they were and he will be missed by many.

John faced all his challenges with gusto. He will always be remembered as a sharp dresser with a wonderful smile and respect of all that knew him from family, to neighbors and to business associates.
