John George Schwable born July 14, 1946 in Burbank, CA, John could not walk until he was 12 years old due to annual summer surgeries to correct a birth defect. John was taught to swim by Johnny Weissmiller and was quite the swimmer. He placed 2nd at California State Finals in the early sixties. his parents John and Fern Schwable raised him in a strict Catholic household. he attended Cantwell High School and participated in Varsity Baseball and Football and graduated in 1964. He fathered six children Richard, Rebecca, Johnny, Michael, Matthew and Evalina. he is survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He worked over twenty years for ITT Barton instrments as a quality inspector. His passions were classic Cheverolet Musclecars, German Shepherds, western movies, cowboy boots, Levis's 501's Marlboro reds and whiskey. He was a strong man who battled many obstacles. He was not a quitter and showed all of us that "You can" spirit, and taught each of us to be a fighter and how to survive. He was the hardest working man ever. He was loved by many and will be missed by all, and never Forgotten!
