Konstantinos "Deno" Soteropoulos, age 82, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016, after battling a short term illness. Deno was surrounded by his family when he passed. He was the widower of Maria Soteropoulos. They shared 39 years of marriage together. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 15, 1934, he was the son of Paul and Elizabeth Soteropoulos. After his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force, he graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He and Maria then moved to California where Deno worked in the Aerospace Industry. He was a member of Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church and sang in the choir. He was interested in restoring Juke Boxes and tinkering with anything antique.
Deno will be remembered for his kindness and sparkle of life. He had a certain gentleness that was always luminescent, radiant, and even magical. He will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He was one–of-a-kind; he was "The Dad". He is survived by his children, Sophia, Helena, and Paul, and his Grandchildren Anastasia, Kostas, Dylan, Lula, and Violet.
