Lawrence "Larry" LeRoy Hofeling, a longtime resident of Temple City, passed away on August 5, 2017 due to complications from a series of falls. He was 76. Larry was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 24, 1941 to Alvin and Moina Hofeling. He graduated from San Gabriel High School and later joined the National Coast Guard and served 4 years. His service in the Coast Guard had him stationed in Oregon for 1 year, Alaska for 2 years, and Washington for another year, where he would later meet and marry Marjorie Rogers on August 30, 1963. Larry was a business owner, he worked in collections and he was a bus driver for Foothill Transit. Larry is survived by his wife, Marge, son Michael and daughter Holly and son-in-law Manuel. As well as his granddaughters, Gabriella, Danielle and grandson-in-law Michael, Ashley, Kimberly, and Annamaria. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 150 W. Duarte Road, in Arcadia. There will be a viewing at 10am followed by a Funeral service and luncheon at 11am and 12pm, respectively. All who wish to remember and celebrate the life of Larry are welcome.
