Maria Mattas, 62, passed away November 4, 2013 in Carson, California, surrounded by her loving family at her side. Maria was a loving person, who gave so much to all. She was a fun person to be with. We will always cherish the memories and the love we have for her. Maria volunteered her time to any worthy cause she could,  including Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox community. She will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughter, Eleni Dimitropoulos and her husband Tom. Her loving grandchildren, Christina and Anastasia Dimitropoulos, a sister, Panayiota Marougas, and her father, Elias Mattas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Despina Mattas.

Trisagion service will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11:00am, both held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 5761 East Colorado Street, Long Beach, California. Interment to follow at Rose Hills Cemetery. May her memory be eternal.
