Papou Mike quietly passed of natural causes on December 30, 2020.

He spent his last day at home with his wife, his children, grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren by his side.

Of course, his love, our mom Sofia, never left his side. It was so heartwarming to witness the love between the two of them. They were blessed with 61 years of marriage. They sat together and held hands as he gently departed.

Mike came from Greece in 1958 to live the American dream. He succeeded in every way. He provided for his family and made wonderful friends. Loved his golf outings more than anything. He was involved with chanting at every church he attended. He loved and insisted that everyone called him papou.

We all agree that his happiest times were spent with all his grandchildren, just making them laugh.

Our family is so appreciative for the outpouring of phone calls, emails, texts, and condolences. This is a reaffirmation of what we already know about papou. It gives us such great comfort to hear everyone's kind words.

He is survived by his loving wife Sofia, his 2 daughters and their spouses Kalli & Dino Bicos, and Penny & Dimitri Viladeris. His 5 grandchildren are Michael Bicos, Theana & Vasili Kotsiovos, Alyssa and Bucky Burge, Violeta Viladeris, and Sofia Viladeris. His 2 great grandchildren are Elijah and Andreas Burge.

Private services will be held on January 11, 2021.
