Patricia Tavoularis Fettis was born in Lowell, Massachusetts to Paniyota and Nicholas Tavoularis. Patricia, known by family and friends as Pat, moved to Los Angeles in 1933. In 1948 she married Peter G. Fettis.

In the 1950s, they moved to the San Fernando Valley where she was very active at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and served as the Philoptochos President. She had three children, Gary (Georgene), Nicholas (Mary Alice), and Teri (David D'Ovidio).

Later in life, Pat resided in Sherman Oaks and Palm Springs, and spent her final years with her daughter Teri, in Woodland Hills where she died peacefully surrounded by family.

Pat has 6 grandchildren: Ben, Kate, Lily, Peter, Gianni, and Dante. She is survived by her children, her grandchildren, and her 2 sisters and 3 brothers: Martha, Pauli, John, Dean, and Alex.

Her memorial services will be held at Saint Sophia Cathedral, 1324 S. Normandie Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 9006 on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Sophia Philoptochos Society or Saint John the Baptist of Carmel Philoptochos, PO Box 5808 Carmel by the Sea, CA 93921.
