Pete Efstathiou passed away on March 24, 2022, after a 2 year battle with COPD. Pete was born in Thessalia a village in Greece with his 2 brothers and his sister, he was the second to youngest of the 4 children with his father Constantin and mother Maria. Pete left home at the age of 14 to reunite with his older brother Nick and his older sister Julia in the city of Delphi to work in a hotel. At the age of 17 he left for the army were he did his 2 years of service. After his service, he left to the big city of Athens to work in the Hotel Great Britania.
In 1970 he met his wife Maria and was engaged to then leave for New York to attend the school for hotel management, while working in the hotel industry. In 1973 he married his wife and then moved to Los Angeles to work in Century Plaza hotel, shortly after Pete and his wife started a family and a life with 3 sons, not too long after they bought their first restaurant and his dream of having a family and business had come true. Pete loved his family and his life as a restaurant owner. Pete passed away a happy man, leaving behind his wife Maria, his sons Constantin 47, Andreas 45 and his youngest Nick 36. May God open the gates of heaven and welcome him with all His love and glory.
