Ralph Boyle, 101 yr. old resident and past merchant of Norwalk, CT, passed away while visiting his family in California. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Mary Boyle and daughter Nina Boyle Forcier. He is survived by his son Larry, daughter-in-law Jessica, 5 grandchildren; Mr. Brian Boyle, Ms. Dyan Boyle, Ms. Aimee Meeks, Mr. William Forcier Jr. (Kim), Mr. Lawrence Forcier (Deborah) and 8 great-grandchildren.
Ralph served the Norwalk community as the owner of ABC Television, Sales and Service in downtown Norwalk for 44 years. He was active for many years in Norwalk local government, serving on the Parking Commission and the Re-Development Commission. During his years of civic duty, he was most proud of his fight to install sidewalks to help preserve the safety of children and pedestrians in the Cranberry section of Norwalk.
Ralph was celebrated at age 99 as the Oldest Living Past Commodore of the Norwalk Boat Club and was a member of the Norwalk Men's Club.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13th at the Norwalk Inn & Convention Center, 99 East Ave, Norwalk. Interment immediately following the memorial at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Dr., Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Tribute/Memorial Donations in Ralph's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
