Richard was married to Patricia Carter for 48 years and is survived by Patricia, his son Brian and 3 Grandchildren, 5 step Grandchildren and his Brothers George and Roy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Rick. Richard worked for Trailer Train for over 30 years and served as a Supervisor he retired in 2001. Richard and Patricia have lived in Riverside California for 38 years.
