Obituary

Spencer Allen Coffey was born May 7, 1985 in Winter Park, Florida. Spencer was raised in Scarsdale, New York and Scottsdale, Arizona. He attended Scottsdale Culinary Arts School and loved to cook. Spencer was an accomplished artist having sold work to the French Foreign Ministry. Spencer loved jazz and blues. He enjoyed playing in a band where he recorded an album Ad Astra. Spencer loved Russian literature, and when he died was working on curriculum for the Pasadena School System. Spencer was a humble, sensitive, and generous human being who cared deeply for those less fortunate. Spencer is survived by his parents Jonathan and Julia Coffey, his sister Kate Dietz, and brother-in-law Justin Dietz, his nephew Fletcher Dietz, and niece Eliana Dietz. Spencer will be deeply missed by those who has the privilege of knowing and loving him.
