Stella N. Morris fell asleep in the Lord on July 30, 2018 surrounded by her dearest loved ones. Born January 15, 1930 in Wheeling, West Virginia to John and Helen Nicholas, Stella was a loving and dedicated daughter an incredible friend. She was a devout Orthodox Christian and a life-long member of Saint Sophia Cathedral. She loved her Greek community and was an active member in Philoptochos and Daughters of Penelope.

Stella had an amazing sense of style, her love of baseball caps being her signature fashion piece. She loved maps and road trips; music, animals and food - especially chocolate ice cream and white wine. She kept her mind sharp by doing crossword puzzles and reading the Los Angeles Times.

Stella will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humor. She is reunited in heaven with her parents and siblings.

The Trisagion will be held at 7 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018. Funeral service will be offered at 11:00 am on Monday, August 6, 2018. Makaria luncheon to follow. All services will be held at Saint Sophia Cathedral - 1324 S. Normandie Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90006. Interment service at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068.

We love you so much Thea Stella and will miss you beyond measure. May your memory be eternal.
