Steve Kaheem Taylor; the beloved son of Steve Taylor and Victoria Baines Taylor was born April 13, 1993 in Lynwood California. Steve was the youngest son of five siblings. He accepted Christ and was baptized at age 14 at North Long Beach Church of Christ.

Steve graduated from Polytechnic High School and was an outstanding academic student. He loved the outdoors and was preparing a life's ambition of becoming a landscape artist. He loved the beach, he was a sprinter, an avid chess player and a highly competitive video game buff. He was affectionately known to everyone as "Kaheem".
