Susan Martin Cherry's Obituary
Susan Martin Cherry passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10:22 pm at Scripps after fighting her year long battle against Stage IV Lung Cancer.
Susan was a gourmet cook, lover of dogs (2) and cats (3), owner of UGGs in about 12 different colors, lover of Sopranos and Survivor. World class shopper, maker of rolled tacos and best guacamole ever, regular at Starbuck's, loved being in her garden in the sun, she had a huge posse of friends. She bossed her family around and made sure they kept the house in order - even from her command post on the couch. She went peacefully and gracefully from this world into the next life. Unique and strong and one of a kind. Susan Cherry.
She is survived by her husband John Cherry, and daughter Marlene Martin.
