Theoharis Boutsikakis of Long Beach, California died on July 12, 2021 after a long bout with multiple cancers. Born in Greece on June 21, 1954, "Harry," as he was known to all, arrived in the United States in 1967.

Entrepreneurial, hard-driving and strong-willed, no task was too difficult for Harry who worked in and started numerous businesses. Perhaps his most enduring legacy is his dedication to the annual festival held by the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Long Beach. For many years his tireless efforts helped ensure a successful celebration of the Greek spirit, food and culture.

Harry is survived by his brothers Dimitri and Vasili Boutsikakis; his children Peter, Nikki and Johnny Boutsikakis; his stepchildren Nicole Liakos and Stephanie Cox; and grandchildren Cynthia, Olivia, Daegan, Daphne, Demi, Xander, Julius and Jameson.

Harry is now re-united Joanne Liakos, his partner of more than thirty years.

Wake and funeral services will be held at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 5761 E. Colorado, Long Beach, California 90814.
