Valerie Varvandakis Estes, passed from this life on Thursday, July 23, 2020. We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for their diligence and care.

Valerie was cherished by those who love music and who love Hellenism. Her selfless, steadfast loyalty and open heart earned her many friends.

Valeries dedicated and disciplined pursuit of piano lead her to the USC School of Music.

As a professional she, had a long career in marketing, where she had 25 years experience in marketing Valerie's dedication to detail and fastidiousness nature served her well throughout this long career of executive level works.

Valerie was a member of the Hellenic University Club of Southern California in which she held the position of secretary and she served as an executive active member of the Board of Directors. Valerie was also the Chair for the West Side Opera League from 2016 to 2020.

Funeral service at 11am on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Los Angeles. Funeral at 12pm on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, California, just outside of Modesto.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Valerie's memory may be made to Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Los Angeles or the UCLA Stavros Niarchos Center.
