WILLIAM RICHARD HUGHES, passed away April 3, 2016, at the age of 65, after a seven year battle with cancer. Bill obtained his M.S. in civil engineering and participated in the Air Force ROTC program at USC. He then served two years at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, and continued his public service in FEMA's Urban Search and Rescue. He retired from Bechtel after 30 years, and worked for PBS&J/Atkins as a project manager in Northern California. He is survived by his wife Marla, sons Jeff and Mark, grandchildren Brandon and Megan, brothers Jim and Joe, and sister Donna Wagoner.
